Jodi has been a practicing occupational therapist since earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Quinnipiac University in 1999. In 2006 Jodi graduated from Montclair University with a Master’s Degree in Education with a focus in Learning Disabilities. Throughout her career, she has worked in outpatient clinics, in early intervention, and various school settings such as special educational preschools, private preschools, in public schools, as well as in schools for children with autism and emotional difficulties.

In July of 2107, Jodi became co-owner and director of Sensational Therapies. Her practice uses a holistic approach involving the entire family, not just the child. Jodi enjoys collaborating together with families to achieve the best possible outcome for their child. She is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test, is a certified provider for The Listening Program, and is an Interactive Metronome certified provider. She has attended numerous continuing education courses including courses on The Alert Program, Zones of Regulation, Brain Gym, The Wilbarger Deep Pressure and Proprioceptive Technique (DPPT), and Handwriting Without Tears. Jodi s certified as an Advanced Mentored Clinician in SPD Level 1, having completed the Advanced Intensive Mentorship from the Sensory Processing Foundation.

Jodi has been repeatedly named to New Jersey Family’s “NJ Favorite Kids’ Docs and Exceptional Healthcare Providers”. The professionals on the list are nominated as “exceptional” by readers of the magazine.

After 18 years working as an occupational therapist, Jodi continues to be passionate about a career she truly loves. For the past 3 years, Jodi has been an adjunct profession at Seton Hall University teaching pediatric courses in the graduate program. She also loves facilitating parent/teacher workshops on topics ranging from developing play skills for preschoolers, feeding picky eaters, handwriting skills, sensory integration and sensory diets for the home and school.

When Jodi is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband Jason and her three daughters Jordyn, Leah and Adele. She is a devoted mom and always makes time for her daughter’s activities. Jodi enjoys skiing and vacationing with her family when she is not working.
